Raindogs - WERS, Boston 10-11-87

The Raindogs were a rock band from Boston that featured Darren Hill from Red Rockers, Jim Reilly from Red Rockers and Stiff Little Fingers and two former members of The Schemers. They released two albums in 1989 and 1991 and had a bit of success in the mainstream. This live recording is an early radio broadcast and the sound quality is excellent.

Classic Ruins - Demos 1983 + Boston 1985 + Boston 1988

The Demos were recorded at Radiobeat Studios but I'm not sure if these versions are the same as on the Room Starts Spinning LP that was released in 2002. The 1985 radio broadcasts is the band just playing cover songs but ad-libing different lyrics over the music. They sound pretty drunk. On the version of Temptation Eyes they sing the lyrics to the Hank Williams song Hey, Good Lookin'. The 1988 show finds them back in fine form and they add a couple Buddy Holly songs to the set. Sound quality is excellent all around.
